Porcelain Dolls
Below are pictures and descriptions of my Porcelain dolls.
This beautiful doll is called Sunshine and Lollipops. She is part of the What Little Girls are Made Of Collection from Ashton Drake Galleries. Originally offered in 1997, this retired doll is a wonderful example of the talents of Dianna Effner.
1997 Kelsey's First Birthday is from the Georgetown Collection, created by Joyce Reavey. She has blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She is dressed in her party dress and also has a pretty pink hairband in her hair. She has a chair for her to kneel on, and of course, her birthday cake on the table. The table is actually musical, playing "Happy Birthday to You" when you wind it up (the cake is the winder).
1997 Lavender Dreams by Linda Mason for Georgetown is from the Victorian Fantasies collection. She is wearing a lavender tea dress, brooch, and has her storybook. Her chair measures 15" high.
